Based on guidelines from the CDC and WV Department of Health and Human Resources children should not be at school if they have these symptoms.
- A fever of 100 degrees or more in the last 24 hours without fever reducing medicines
- Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
- Any signs of respiratory illness such as thick nasal drainage, frequent cough, severe sore throat, earache and/or drainage from the eyes.
- Students can return to school after these symptoms have been gone for 24 hours or they have see and doctor and have been prescribes and taken antibiotics for these symptoms for 24 hours.
